Come learn in a tactile, low key, and friendly manner from the ground up all about horses, the equipment (saddles, bridles, and halters) we use, how to feed and care for them, as well as learn to ride.
Adventure Camp:
Adventure camp allows children to enjoy the many fun and educational aspects of farm life in addition to horseback riding! Activities include animal husbandry, horseback riding, nature hikes, track identification, archery, and basic survival skills. Extended hours available by request only and add an extra fee.
Horse Camp:
Our team of experts at WildeWood Farm Inc. is proud to offer a one-of-a-kind experience for children. When you are looking to provide your child with a great experience while on break from school, we offer a great option for you! This incredible encounter is perfect for children who have a place in their hearts for horses, or looking to develop leadership skills, responsibility, and a newfound respect for animals.
With our certified horse trainers, you can expect a safe and thoroughly educational experience that your child will learn important lessons from. Our day camp requires lunches to be packed each day, and we also ask that children wear closed-toe shoes, jeans, and weather-appropriate tops; please consider a change of shirts for warmer afternoon temperatures.
