Overview

The Level 3 program continues to get more advanced and introduces students to the professional wood shop while building upon the skills learned in the level 2 program. This program will dig deeper in all areas covered so far and will add new techniques students will use the rest of their lives.

Participants will do the following activities using professional tools and advanced software: Reverse engineering with OnShape CAD software, MIG welding metal sculpture, sheet metal tool box fabrication and metal shop techniques, Arduino Intro to robotics, and intermediate wood shop equipment to make a vintage style hardwood skateboard. Upon completion of this level students are now comfortable using most professional adult-sized tools and understand the capabilities and dangers of each tool providing a life time of opportunity.

Great place. Lots to do. They offer loads of classes, and the instructors are usually really good. Great place to learn to do something you've always wanted to do.

Love that there's a local place with so many classes and so much equipment. You can explore your creative passions to your heart's content. The only downside, if you can call it that, is that it's hard to narrow down which projects to focus on first. The sky is the limit here! I also enjoy the friendly and collaborative community. You’re never on your own, there are always instructors and other members around for discussions & feedback. It’s really quite incredible.
