Fall 3 Types of Writing Boot Camp

This class is a fall semester course designed for learners who want support to improve their writing. Students will learn 3 types of writing most requested in the classroom - expository narrative and opinion composition. They will learn the steps necessary to organize plan out then draft out their ideas. Learners will be motivated in the class to practice essential sentence writing and grammar skills. 

Each week students try out new skills such as how to improve topic sentences, word choice and transitions . My aim is to teach writers to develop their love of expression ,plus learn how to summarize and synthesize as they write. We will review critical writing methods and review idea development.

This class is personalized with focus and attention tailored to making each learner a much better writer. We have fun and adapt quickly to meet your child where they are. This class is very comprehensive and fun using my experience to open unlimited skill levels that help readers develop writing fluency. 

I am very attentive and clear with lesson directions and expectations, as well as the materials I use to teach the grade level content that engages your child’s interest to inspire more interest in writing. I am able to quickly assess the appropriate writing stage and provide the necessary structure plus tips that prompt the learner to revise and edit drafts to improve composition flow .

My aim is to tailor the class to meet each learner's needs. Learners will increase their ability to write with confidence, and I am very responsive any time learners need extra writing time ; I provide office hours to assist and answer questions.
