We are so grateful that we found Sheri! Our daughter has been a student of Sheri’s for close to a year. Her connection to music continues to grow as she is challenged weekly with new skills and songs.

My husband and I spent a couple of years gently encouraging our daughter to find an activity or two that she really enjoyed. It wasn’t easy because activities aren’t really her “thing.” My kiddo has ADHD—she tends to lose interest in things quickly and gets easily frustrated. Then we met Sheri. ❤️She has taught my kiddo the musical skills needed to play drums while always tuning into how my kiddo is feeling. She knows when to push a little and when to switch gears so her brain doesn’t feel overloaded by the new challenges. More importantly, Sheri has taught her how to persist when things are tough, how to be gentle with herself and laugh at her mistakes, and how to embrace her weirdness as awesomeness! Sheri is an amazing teacher and an amazing human. After watching how well lessons were going with my daughter, I started taking lessons too! Grooving on the drums with Sheri is the highlight of my week. 🥁

Our daughter loves Sheri! She has learned so much from her in the past couple of years and is highly motivated to keep drumming. Sheri is a fantastic drum teacher and also a lovely person. Her studio is warm and inviting as well. Several of our friends take lessons with Sheri and I only hear good things.

I highly recommend getting lessons with Rock n Roll School if you have the chance! Sheri is amazing! She is so attentive, patient, and an absolutely amazing teacher. My daughter is not a kid who sticks with things for very long, but she has been so dedicated to learning and practicing the drums because of the inspiration of her teacher! I feel beyond lucky that we have the opportunity to have her on a weekly basis to teach our 10-year-old for the past year and a half. The lessons have been a worthy investment as she has gained so much confidence as she has progressed. Recently, she played on a set at a music store and got some really positive comments from music savvy bystanders.
