Camp Carey is a vibrant summer program designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection in children of all ages. Our mission is to provide a joyful, enriching experience where campers can explore new interests, develop skills, and build lasting friendships in a supportive environment. With a blend of hands-on projects, outdoor adventures, and beloved camp traditions, each day at Camp Carey is filled with fun and discovery.
Conveniently located on The Carey School campus, Camp Carey is an ideal choice for busy families on the Peninsula. Daily lunch is included in our camp tuition, and we offer both AM and PM Extended Care options to fit your family’s needs. Camp Carey welcomes children in grades K-5 to our traditional day camp, Let’s Play, while our specialty camps, Let’s Dance and Let’s Innovate, are open to children in grades 1-5. For students in grades 6-9, we offer the Counselor In Training (CIT) program, Let’s Lead, where participants develop leadership skills while enjoying the best parts of camp.
With fresh and exciting themes each week, there is something for every camper to enjoy! We bring these themes to life with engaging art and science projects and special guests like the Try It Truck, CaveSim, and more. Throughout each week, campers participate in our traditional all-camp events, such as Water Day and Park Day. The week culminates in our Friday Fun Day assembly, where all campers have the opportunity to showcase something they’ve created during the session.
From innovation and discovery to collaboration and play, Camp Carey ensures every camper has a meaningful and memorable summer. Join us for an unforgettable journey where fun and learning go hand in hand!
The Camp Carey team is made up of dedicated Carey School faculty, staff, and alumni, all of whom share a passion for creating a fun, supportive, and enriching experience for every camper.
