Overview

Students will bring their ideas to life through 3D printing!  Using Tinkercad software, they will learn how to design custom phone and tablet holders and then have them 3D printed.  Following the lesson, students will be given a CAD challenge, in which they will design a new item and then present it to the class for a chance to have their new design printed as well.

Pizza will be served.

*If students have a phone or tablet they typically use, they are welcome to bring it to class so that they can customize their holders to fit their device.

My child Max, and his friend went to and event building 3d phone holders. Those boys had the best time! Two days later my kid is still talking about it and how much fun he had and begging to go back. I know he will be telling all his friends as school. We will definitely be signing back up!

It was so nice to pick up 2 11 year old boys and hear them tell me all about their night! Can’t wait until the next activity! ❤️
