SpiritHorse Riding Center
SpiritHorse Riding Center of the San Francisco Bay Area is a 501(c)3 non-profit and was founded in January of 2012 by Charlotte Dougherty.
This program is open to riders of all abilities. Our lessons are designed to improve the lives of children and adults who are facing developmental, emotional, social, and physical challenges.
We are proud to be a licensed SpiritHorse International Center that strives to provide opportunities that help our community members build self-confidence and feel empowered!

Our Staff
Our Mission is to offer a unique opportunity for children and adults to interact with horses and to use them as a means for overcoming obstacles and accomplishing goals. SpiritHorse is a completely volunteer-run organization. 100% of funds raised through lessons and donations go towards the care and maintenance of our horses, facilities, and lesson equipment, and enable us to expand and enhance our programs, as well as create a more enriching learning environment for our students.
