Spartan Volleyball
Spartan Volleyball in San Jose, California offers volleyball summer camps for children. Our program Junior Spartans Camp, Volleyball FUN and Development for KIDS. Our little campers will have a blast learning teamwork, getting exercise and practicing the fundamentals of volleyball. Activities will build motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and confidence. We'll use special light-weight volleyballs that are designed for youth.
In our All Skills Camp, new and experienced middle school, high school, and club players come and prepare for your upcoming school tryouts and fall volleyball season. San Jose State coaches and players will work closely with you to improve your skills of passing, setting, attacking, blocking, defense and serving. Experienced players and beginners alike will be ready to make a big impression at school this fall.
Our Staff
This season marks the fifth year with Jolene Shepardson at the helm San José State University women's volleyball program.
Shepardson has led the Spartan program back to heights that have not been seen in over 10 years. The 2017 team finished the year with a 17-12 overall record and 9-9 Mountain West mark. It was the first winning season for the volleyball program since the 2006 season. The nine MW wins was also the most for San José State since joining the conference in 2012.
