Overview

Student-Teacher Ratio 12:1

Join a memorable 5-Day workshop, where students will learn to craft their skills as screenwriters and filmmakers! No previous experience needed!

The camp will encompass writing scripts, acting techniques, genre workshops, use of cameras and filming equipment, editing and more, culminating in a movie project made by and starring the students themselves!

DAY ONE:

- Understanding the main principals and technical aspects of filmmaking

- Discussion of movies and stories (Harry Potter, Star Wars)

- Writing workshop to understand story, structure and characters

DAY TWO:

- Acting workshops to enhance skills

- Small group filming exercises

- Story development of film project

DAY THREE:

- Scriptwriting of film project

- Pre-production of film project

- Costume prep

- Rehearsals

DAY FOUR:

- Filming (on premises and in nearby, outdoor safe locations)

DAY FIVE:

- Reshoots

- Footage evaluation

- Editing

* Completed Movies will made available for download online shortly after the end of the course.
