Overview

Student-Teacher Ratio 6:1

An all-outdoors day camp for children entering K through 5th grades, and rising 6th through 8th graders. Designed to connect children to plants through a combination of structured, themed activities and open-ended time to develop curiosity, initiative, imagination and creativity. Themes include gardening, art, wellness, and ecology.

As an all-outdoors camp, Garden Camp will occur rain or shine. Extreme weather (sustained high winds or unhealthy air quality, for example) may cancel Camp if indoor facilities are not available.

In 2024 we are excited to continue embracing our Tier System for the Garden Camp program. Please consider selecting the highest level you can afford, knowing that, in doing so, you are enabling others to participate as well - and our community benefits from greater diversity.

  • Tier A - $1300: This most closely reflects the market rate of camp pricing and helps enable us to provide a subsidized rate for families in need. ($130/day - $1400 for Middle School program)
  • Tier B - $1160: Partially subsidized for families needing some support to make camp more affordable.    Suggested for families that make less than $128K* annually (median household income for a family of 4 in 2020) ($116/day - $1260 for Middle school program)

*Please note: Campers may only attend one session of Garden Camp. If you register for more than one session, we will contact you to confirm which session you would prefer. Thank you!*

Can't say enough good things. We're sooooo happy here, both for camp and the after school program.

Garden camp and garden after school are the best programs. Our child loves going and spending time with the counselors and all of the activities.

We looooved Garden Camp! Our kiddo regaled us with stories daily about endangered frog species, errant turtles who escaped the pond, interesting leaves and plants, secret places in the garden, magical potions made from herbs, dance parties, field trips to the Japanese Tea Garden and the Conservatory of Flowers, she couldn’t stop talking about her amazing counselors. We feel so lucky that we have this amazing resource and beautiful garden for our child to enjoy. Thank you so much to the staff for running a seamless camp and for communicating so well!! We love you all.
