An extension of San Francisco Botanical Garden's popular Garden Camp program, the Garden After-School Program (ASP) will provide engaging, all-outdoor afternoon activity for children in grades K-5. The ASP's goal is to foster and support a lifelong love of learning and nature and provide a nurturing, safe setting for positive social-emotional development with peers in nature.
ASP and Camp sessions will connect children to plants through a combination of structured, themed activities and open-ended time to develop curiosity, initiative, imagination, and creativity. Activities will revolve around four main themes; gardening, art, wellness, and ecology.
Our two-day program, and Wednesday+ program, are both flexible on which days you'd like to attend - but we do require at least a 2-day enrollment. Get it contact with us to see how we can accommodate you!
Payment plans available for all sessions!
