At Rooted Tree Theater Camp, we work to help each actor reach their fullest potential, and that starts with equal parts for everyone in the show. Our production of Hairspray Jr. will bring out the best in everyone, including our theater directors and players at each level.

Our cast will develop a close bond since they will work together for their three-week session. We take our time and teach the campers how to enjoy the experience and the friendships they make and the message behind Hairspray JR. That way, we will continue to inspire your camper’s love for the art and keep their passion and interest active!

Our three-week theater camp program ends with 3 final productions performed in front of a live audience (location to be determined). Shows are held on Friday evening, July 12th, a matinee on Saturday, July 13th, and an evening show Saturday the 13th to close out our camp for 2019. Specific times are shared with parents when camp begins.
