Overview

In this Intro to the Pintsize Karate online program, your child will have an opportunity to get a good idea of what karate is and see how much fun and empowering can be! If, after the trial, you'd like to enroll, you can join our monthly membership program, where they will be able to earn colored belts from yellow to black. (starting with a white belt)

*May only enroll in one intro month. Register up to four students per household. Please register every child that will be attending.

In this interactive class, kids will learn safe, controlled warm-ups and exercises while getting a fun introduction to karate techniques and self-defense through drills, games, and challenges that can be done at home or almost anywhere!

Recommended for kids age 4 to 12 however, any age can join, karate is a perfect family activity.

Martial arts don’t just teach children how to defend themselves, while that's an important skill to develop, it's just the tip of the iceberg. Most of the real benefits are below the surface, not always visible to the eye. While kids believe they're having fun and you get to see them expend some energy, martial arts is teaching them:

Our philosophy is that, while we are teaching authentic martial arts and real techniques, it should still be fun for kids.

After teaching thousands of children for over 30 years, we have learned the best way to make our programs both educational AND fun.

My son attended Ninja classes for only two months and I saw some impacts on my son's behavior. Each week, there is a challenge of the week like being responsible of something or someone, being kind to somebody, staying focus. The class is well organized with warm-up, ninja moves, imaginative quests, games and stretching. 5 minutes before then end, it is sharing time when students can share a toy, a book, or just talk. The teacher, Sarah, is kind, positive, patient and encouraging.

My son Enzo has been taking classes with Sarah since he was in preschool. He loves it and is now a Orange belt. It has been so good for him to get some Exercise a couple times a week especially during the pandemic. And it’s not just about the exercise but it’s also about behavior and camaraderie. Sara always takes the time to talk to each and everyone of them.
