Peopleologie
We believe that everyone can make things, and the arts are essential!
Our popular hands-on workshops seamlessly blend making things by hand with culture, math, humanities and sciences. Virtual field trips include slideshows, artifacts, and an activity that's as much enriching as it is fun. Using hearts, hands, and minds together, it's great for individuals, families, groups of friends, or classmates.
We have 35+ years experience providing over 30 workshop topics at locations throughout the SF Bay Area, and we're live online, too. Hands-on activities range from purely experimental to deeply academic, and are adapted and customized by request. Our activities are process-based and success-oriented to work with all abilities and experience levels.

Great workshop! So fun to unleash the creative process along with Peopleologie. After learning how indigenous people across the world use color and dye, we got to become color mixologists in our own kitchen, creating beautiful mediums and projects. I'd highly recommend for families and creators of all ages. Instructor was very knowledgeable. And as for our crafts... she encouraged us at every juncture! Sky's the limit!

What a blast! The Fun with Food workshop was great for the various-aged kids and they used things from their kitchens. The presentation was interesting and taught about traditional dyeing techniques in several countries. Mixing the 'paint', it was eye-opening to see how fruit and spices can create a surprising and beautiful palette.
