Activity Description:

Dive into creativity with our Water & Craft Workshop, a week-long camp designed for children aged 6-12! Running from 1 PM to 4 PM each day, this camp offers an exciting exploration of various wet media crafts. From paper mache and tie dye to printmaking and slime, each day will bring new adventures in creativity. The week concludes with a Friday Funday featuring water gun games and a collaborative group mural project.


Paper Mache
Introduction to Paper Mache:Campers will learn the basics of paper mache, including how to create and apply the paste.
- **Project:** Create and design paper mache masks or sculptures using recycled materials and colorful paint.

Tie Dye
- Introduction to Tie Dye: Children will explore the vibrant world of tie dye, learning various folding and dyeing techniques to create unique patterns.
- **Project:** Design and dye a t-shirt, bandana, or tote bag to take home.

Printmaking
- Introduction to Printmaking: Campers will discover the art of printmaking, using different techniques such as stamping, block printing, and monoprinting.
- **Project:** Create a series of prints on paper or fabric, experimenting with colors and patterns.

Slime Making
- Introduction to Slime: Children will dive into the science and fun of making slime, exploring different recipes and textures.
- **Project:** Make and customize several types of slime, adding colors, glitter, and other fun mix-ins.

Friday Funday with Water Guns and Group Mural
- **Water Gun Games:** Kick off the day with exciting water gun games and activities, ensuring plenty of outdoor fun and refreshment at the Hall Memorial Park.
- **Group Mural Project:** Collaborate with fellow campers to create a large, colorful mural using water-based paints. This group project will encourage teamwork and creativity, resulting in a beautiful piece of art to celebrate the end of camp.
- **Wrap-Up Party:** Enjoy a celebration with music, snacks (provided by parents), and a showcase of the week's projects.

Additional Activities:
- **Daily Creative Explorations:** Each day will include additional creative activities and free crafting time, allowing campers to explore their interests further.
- **Outdoor Play and Snacks:** Short breaks for snacks (provided by parents) and outdoor playtime will be scheduled to keep campers refreshed and energized.

Take Home:
At the end of each day, campers will proudly take home their finished projects, showcasing their new skills and creative expressions. By the end of the week, they will have a collection of unique crafts and memories of fun experiences.
