Park Slope Performing Arts
We are a group of passionate arts educators, dedicated to bringing quality theater and dance education to our students. We believe in the power of arts education to build social, academic, and emotional skills. It is a creative space for keeds and teens.

Our Staff
Mary Rice - Founder/Instructor
Mary is an arts educator and has been a faculty member at Poly Prep Lower School for over twenty years, where she co-founded the Musical Theater program. She continues to direct and produce shows with the Poly Players, and some of her former students have moved on to professional acting careers on the stage including Broadway’s The Lion King. Mary has also written and implemented an original drama curriculum for Poly students. Mary received her teaching degree from Brooklyn College and is currently a Master’s candidate at New York University in the Educational Theatre MA program.
