Day One: Fly as a group from DFW Airport to Phoenix. Begin the drive to Sedona in our 15 passenger van and stop to kayak the Verde River along the way. Check into one of our favorite local Sedona hotels with incredible red rock views!
Day Two: We'll start off our morning with a hike to the Soldier's Pass Cave, a stunning 2-story cave hidden in the red rocks. Along the way, we'll see the Devil's Sinkhole and Seven Sacred Pools. Next, we'll picnic at Crescent Moon Ranch, a swimming hole with the most famous views of Sedona.
Day Three: We'll have another early morning hike to the Birthing Cave, a beautiful shallow cave nestled into a cliff's edge, and one of our favorite photo opportunities of the trip! We'll picnic at another favorite swimming hole, Grasshopper Point, before setting up our creekside camp at Cave Springs.
Day Four: Today is the day we begin our wilderness backpacking experience! We'll hit the trail early and will be surrounded by incredible Oak Creek Canyon views throughout our journey. We'll set up camp in one of the most secluded and beautiful parts of the canyon.
Day Five: Day two of our backpacking journey! We'll continue exploring the remote reaches of the canyon and checking out the best swimming holes.
Day Six: We'll pack up camp and begin our trek out of the canyon. When we reach civilization, we'll be ready for a shower and a big dinner at one of our favorite local spots. We'll rest easy in a hotel tonight!
Day Seven: All good things must come to an end. We'll cap off our journey with one final hike to the infamous Cathedral Rock. We'll head back to the hotel to shower before driving back to Phoenix for our flight back home.
