NR Computer Learning Center NRCLC work with schools, educational institutions, and organization to help students learn technology and prepare for the IT Associate Certificate exam including Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), and Microsoft Technology. NRCLC helps students develop coding skills through game-based learning.

Dr. Vazi Okhandiar, DBA. MSCS, PMP, MCT - Program Director

Dr. Vazi has over 20 years of teaching experience in Computer Science courses and Microsoft Products. She teaches both kids and adults. She has been helping students prepare for the AP Computer Science exam and Microsoft Certification Exam. She has worked in the capacity of managing, architecture, designing, and implementing information technology projects for global clients such as the World Bank, General Motors, HP/EDS, Toyota, CSC, Olympus, and Mitsubishi, as well as numerous small and medium-sized enterprises.

Hi, Chromebook can work but installing the software on that might be a bit of a hassle. We recommend you use a computer to download the software on to the SD card. The computer wont be required after that, its just to download the software. -

My son has an old Raspberry Pi, one of the first available. Will that work for this course? Also, he doesn't have any experience with Python, C, C+++ ... will he need some experience with one of those to be successful with this? (Introduction to Raspberry Pi with Python) -

This course will work with Raspberry Pi version 3 and above. As long as he is familiar with using the basic features of a computer, he should be fine. The course will introduce students to the Linux operating system, Python programming language, and GPIO. -

The Video Editing class will work with iMovie. During the school year, the online classes are held for 8 weeks. Students meet with the instructor once a week. During the summer break, we have camps that are held Monday to Friday.
