Mister Lemur's Adventures in Writing

The curriculum is fantastic and so are the teachers- Highly recommend them. A very fun, engaging and truly creative experience for my child in writing.

The last week of camp was horrible. My daughter told me she was reading a book while everybody played games or was watching Youtube. This is a writing camp and they did not write that much. The teachers could not handle the class at all. The 5th grade should be adjusted. They need to teach the teachers how to handle the kids. I will not put my daughter in this camp next year.

This camp deserves more than 5 stars. My son was lukewarm at first in going to a writing camp. But just after the first day, he was completely converted and couldn't stop talking about how much fun he had. He was also very enthusiastic about all the stuff they learned and just looked forward to going to camp. He said that this is the best camp he has ever attended! The staff in the Fremont location was the best! He just loved AIW so much that he wanted to do another two weeks camp with them. Unfortunately, I have already booked him for other camps. But we will definitely do this again next summer.

As a parent, I cannot be more pleased to see my son have a very positive and confident attitude towards writing. Thank you so much AIW!!!

My daughter had a great time at AIW camp this summer and can't wait to go back next year. While she's enjoyed other camps in the past, she's never been this sad that a camp has ended and eager to return next year. I think learning through singing and dancing made this experience unique and enjoyable for her. We've been playing the CD in the car for a few weeks now!

My daughter is autistic and often has problems with being around her peers in a classroom. She loved AIW!!! She woke up every morning wanting to go to school. She loved all of the counselors. They really knew how to reach the kids through music, jokes, and movement. They also had fabulous structure.

This camp is not just a writing camp......the children were active all day long, singing, dancing and making friends. The level of confidence my child displayed in her writing was amazing. The staff was amazing. This camp keeps parents in the loop with daily updates of the instruction for the day and what to expect tomorrow.

Our son had a great time at Adventures in Writing camp in Danville. It was a nice break between the Day Camps and Sports camps. In fact he said it has been his favorite camp of all. His favorite parts were the songs, making up stories, publishing his e-book online and his counselors - he was sad when camp ended which NEVER happens. We will most likely do it again next summer.
