Overview

Ready for a bake off and to learn  Spanish?  Baking is an amazing skill to master that involves a lot of measurements and math! 

Join us as we learn how to bake different foods all while developing our math! Take on this challenge and become a true baking Math Chef!  We will be including directions and vocabulary in both English and Spanish!

Jan 29- Donuts

Students will have a hands-on practice to know how one of their favorite treats are made by using the correct ingredients to bake donuts

Feb 5-Apple Pie Crescents

Students will use their cooking skills to carefully cut and decorate the edge of their apple pie crescents, and seeing their creation come to yummy life.

Feb 12- Blueberry Muffin 

Students will make this easy to prepare recipe and find a new way to use healthy ingredients in a yummy treat.

Feb 19-Oreo Cheesecake 

Students will learn how milk is used in many recipes and the different ways that it can transform.

Feb 26-Soft Pretzel 

Students will challenge their creativity by making different animals or shapes out of pretzel dough, adding extra fun to simple ingredients.
