My daughter enjoyed the softball summer camp a lot. The camp is fun, and the Legends team coaches are very patient and nice to the kids that learn softball from the beginning. Great experience and definitely recommend it.

My son just finished a week at Legends South Bay Baseball Camp, and let me tell you, it was a home run! From the minute we arrived, the energy was electric. The coaches were all former players who knew their stuff, but more importantly, they knew how to connect with the kids. They made learning fun, and my son came home buzzing with new skills and a renewed passion for the game.
Here's what really impressed me:
* Top-notch Coaching: The coaches weren't just barking orders. They took the time to assess each player's strengths and weaknesses, then tailored their instruction accordingly. They were patient, encouraging, and always positive, which really helped boost my sons confidence.
* Focus on Fun: Sure, they learned a lot, but the camp never lost sight of the fact that this should be enjoyable. There were fun drills, scrimmages, and even some team-building activities that weren't baseball-related, but still helped the kids bond. The final day of camp is “Legends Olympics” which my son won’t stop talking about!
* Awesome Facilities: The camp was held at River Glen park with top-notch fields, batting cages, and everything else a young baseball player could ask for. It felt like a major league experience for the kids!
* Great Camaraderie: My son made a ton of new friends from all over. The camp had a real sense of community, and it was heartwarming to see the kids cheering each other on.
If you're looking for a summer baseball camp that will take your child's game to the next level, while also fostering a love for the sport, look no further than Legends South Bay! It was an absolute grand slam in my book!

The Legends team delivered on all fronts. The coaching was phenomenal and they kept my son engaged throughout the entire week. It was my son’s first BB camp and he’s already looking forward to next summer so he can come back.

Questions & Answers
My Daughter is really interested in starting softball. She is 12 and has never played before. We throw the ball around but nothing with a team. Would this camp be a good start for her to try and get into this sport? (Legends Summer Softball Camp) -

Absolutely! We do great with beginners! However, if they are 6 years old it could be a little tough. If they are 6-7 and are 100% doing this for their first time, we highly recommend practicing with them at home a little and teaching them the rules of the game! Hopefully this reply helps! -David Klein (Legends Camp Director) -
