Marvelous Merlin's Magic Academy
I'm the only instructor in Santa Clara County approved to teach this accredited program.
Discover magic exist to create more happiness in our kids and more empathy in our world. It's for kids 8 to 12 who wanna have fun, make friends, feel special, and have something exciting to look forward to. It's designed to help fulfill the hopes of parents who just want their kids to be happy and engaged, to be confident in themselves and comfortable comfortable with others, to develop skills to last a lifetime and to find something productive they can stick with.
Discover magic focuses on magic, fun, and learning. The magic makes the fun happen; the fun makes learning easy.
The Magic Consists of:
- Four full-length "wand courses" taught over a period of weeks, in person
- Unique high quality custom props, materials, and on-line resources you won't find in off-the-shelf magic kits
- Single day and optional stand-alone tricks
The Fun comes from:
- Surprises! Discover Magic Kids learn something new at every session that they can share right away
- Unique games explore their creativity
- Bonus content to practice overtime, so they can take their discover Magic experience as far as they want to go
The Learning emphasizes
- The Eight Traits of a true magician: Respectful, Prepared, Enthusiastic, Confident, Giving, Humble, Creative, Authentic
- Practice and exploration through a 24/7 "video vault" that provides access to past lessons kids can review again and again.
Our Staff
Meet Greg Finch
Greg Finch has years of experience in the magic industry. He got his start as a Master of Ceremonies for various events.
Greg is a Retired Police Chief from the City of Campbell, CA, and sometimes goes by the nickname 'Chief Trick.' Greg is married to his lovely wife Tonie and has three beautiful daughters. He tries to incorporate magic into many aspects of his daily life and especially enjoys entertaining his daughters with magic tricks. He also spends time reading books about magic and illusion and taking classes to learn more about his craft.
Greg is not just a performer but a motivational speaker as well. He has performed at over 100 assemblies and corporate events.
He recently combined his decades of solving mysteries with his love of magic and created his must see show Murder by Magic.
