Maker Studio Kids

Maker Studio Kids 

  • We offer Maker Art lessons for kids ages 5-11 Tuesday-Friday, 2:00-6:00 pm
  • We offer Sewing classes Tuesdays from 3:30 - 6:00pm and private 1:1 lesson 
  • We offer Toddler Playgroups and Story-time experiences in-studio and online
  • Online Classes and Kits are available 
  • We offer private 1:1 art lessons with special arrangements
  • Day Camp offered for school holidays, Spring Break, Summer and Winter Camp.
  • All of our art teachers have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
  • Birthday Parties - our studio is once again available for birthday parties, on Saturdays and Sundays, drop-off style and only host parents can stay.
Founded in 2017
Our Staff

Marissa founded Maker Studio out of a desire to do something meaningful with their skills and partner together to impact more students. Marissa founded My Fashion Design Kit, in 2015 to use fashion as a means to teach math and engineering. She created her first business plan in high school through NFTE, and earned a degree in Fashion Design and International Trade and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She has 6 years of experience developing products for companies such as Gap Inc. and Pottery Barn Kids, and has taught dozens of workshops to more than 300 students in the Bay Area with tremendous reception.

Here's our COVID protocols for Maker Studio Kids - Our Staff is vaccinated and All Staff and students wear mask during the camp duration - For lunch we eat outside, and for snacks we have a designated area for students to break. - We keep the studio open for air to flow with additional air purifiers - We keep our Camp group size small - so it is best to book early. -
