Overview

Student-Teacher Ratio 6:1

Magikid STEM Summer Camp provides a full day of STEM activities from 9am-3pm. Students experience a full STEM curriculum including robotics, coding, 3D modeling, and AI, as well as learn about teamwork, cooperation, creativity, leadership, and the scientific method.

Students will be grouped by age groups (4-8 yr and 9-12 yr). Each week, the camp features a theme with various fun and fast-paced projects.

Weekly Themes:

June 24-28: Air! Life (and robots)
July 1-7: The Solar System
July 8-12: Forces of Nature
July 15-19: Mission to the Moon
July 22-26: Sea! Life (and robots)
July 29-Aug 2: Mission to Mars
Aug 5-9: The Solar System

Why Choose Magikid STEM Camps?

We work on 3-4 projects a day versus ONE per week! We host camps for kids ages 4-12 of all skill sets and group them during camp based on age and aptitude. We have a max 6 students to 1 instructor ratio to ensure attention. We always track what your child accomplished during camp - so we never repeat a project!

As your child grows in their skill set, so does their project! We have kids returning to us repeatedly because we evolve by teaching them animation, different computer languages, AI, and machine learning!

Magikid is proud of the stellar curriculum that has helped our students achieve remarkable success in robotics competitions. Last season, 32 of our teams qualified for the 2023-2024 VEX Robotics World Championships, with 22 students from 8 teams ranking in the Top 10 globally! Magikid won the world championship and 2nd place in the elementary school group and placed 3rd, 4th, and 5th in the middle school group.

My kids (ages 5 - 10) have done classes here and just did a week of summer camp. It was by far their favorite summer camp where they learned so much. The team there was great with them. Highly recommend! I'd like to be clear that I have 2 girls and a boy. This program and camp is appropriate for not only boys and in fact this type of program is highly encouraged for girls!

Magikid is a gem! If your kid is interested in STEAM, Robotics, programming, coding and simply being in a thriving environment - Magikid is the right place to be. My son loves how he is being challenged in coding and scientific experiments, including making movies. This spring we tried their amazing Spring Camp which was focused on all things STEAM. My son loved interacting with other students, building robots, making movies and learning how to code. Student to teacher ratio is amazing and 9am to 3pm schedule is fantastic. Most of all, children have tons of fun and intellectual challenge! Thrilled to have Magikid in Highland Park!

We incidentally came across a 4 session camp on instagram. There is nothing comparable to this and we are so glad we found it. The excitement from my son and things he learned in such a small time frame were very impressive. So glad we leaned into this as one of his interests because it’s by far his favorite!
