Join us for a Celebration of Nature and Community at Fountain Community Gardens! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM and come experience a day of fun, food, and entertainment at the beautiful Fountain Community Gardens. This event is the perfect opportunity to connect with nature, learn about sustainable gardening practices, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of our local community garden.
What to Expect:
• Delicious Food & Drinks: Enjoy tacos, refreshments, and other tasty treats available throughout the event.
• Live Music: Dance the afternoon away as a live band will perform for the last two hours of the event! This year we are excited to welcome the Jazz Moves Band to the stage, they bring a mix of contemporary, traditional, and crossover jazz to the garden.
• Kids Corner: Bring the kids for a fun afternoon with a face painter and other entertainment! This year, the Kids Corner will feature artist Aaron Kai, where children can paint rocks and garden signs.
• Free Plant Giveaway: This year, we’re excited to host the giveaway in our brand-new greenhouse, generously donated by the Children’s Hospital of LA and built with the support of Clark Construction and many dedicated volunteers. This greenhouse represents our commitment to sustainability and community, and we can’t wait to share its bounty with you. Stop by, take home a plant, and grow something special!
• Explore & Learn: Take a stroll through the garden, where you can learn about sustainable gardening practices and how we’re growing fresh, organic produce together.
