On a dark clear summer night you can see the Milky Way, a dim glow stretching across the sky. Resolving power is the ability to unveil objects that appear as one into separate distinct objects or parts of a whole. We depend on resolution for reading fine print, seeing clearly, and telescopic views of the heavens.
