About
Livermore Valley Arts

Livermore Valley Arts/Bothwell Arts Center offers creative and fun art classes and camps run by professional artists. The projects build art skills for ages 6-15 and are geared to accommodate all skill levels. The children will work with many different media: watercolor, acrylics, pencil and charcoal, mixed media, ink, clay, etc and create a number of fun projects. Students will learn about color theory, mixing paints, light and shadow and perspective. Students will also learn the properties of the different materials and will make 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional projects.

The art teachers are professional artists and educators who have worked with the Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center for many years. All teachers have background checks.

It was a great class, but we noticed at the end of the week that all of Dylan's art wasn't on display. It would be great if it was offered 3 days a week too, 5 days was a bit too much for Dylan over break.

Yes It was a good camp. I think a half day camp would probably have suited my boy better. But he did well and liked going and was interested in all the different art styles they were teaching. A good general overall exposure to the different types of art out there.
