Light Soccer Camp is founded and coached by David and Fernando Light who are professional coaches that have developed players in the bay area over the last 10 years. We offer the best technical soccer training in the area, and the focus is for players to develop a love and passion for the game. We offer a 6-1 Coach to player ratio in order to ensure each player is receiving individual attention and coaching.

Camp Mission Statement

The camp mission is to create confident, creative, and passionate players. We aspire for players to develop their skills while having fun and exploring/cultivating their talents in a safe and positive environment.

Different Themes each day. For example:

Day 1: Moves
Day 2: 1v1 attacking
Day 3: Finishing
Day 4: Passing/Receiving
Day 5: Games

We want players to have fun, improve their soccer skills in all areas, and experiment with different types of moves and skills. We aspire for players to leave the field after each day learning something new, and becoming a better player, person, and teammate.

My kids 7 and 9 attended the Light soccer camp for the first time this winter. I originally signed up for just a few days but ended up adding on more days because the boys loved going (and they went in the rain). As a parent, I love that the camp balances fun, skill trainings and game play. Coach David, coach Fernando, coach Ian and coach Christina were all fantastic! I was particularly impressed by how engaged the coaches are and how much they know about each individual child after just a couple of days, it really shows that they care! The camp has a nice group of kids with different skill levels from beginners to advanced players. For reference, my boys play for a local competitive club at the beginner level, they enjoyed the camp and were appropriately challenged.

Do you have many older kids attend? I have a 12 year old Recreational level son interested, but he definitely prefers to be around kids the same age as him (not younger kids). thanks. (Light Soccer Camp) -
