Bio-molecules such as DNA, proteins, lipids and sugars are the building Blocks of life. The summer camp modules are designed to introduce campers to different bio-molecules using safe edible media such as Chocolate. Campers will learn Properties of bio-molecules, their structure and function in performing life functions. Campers will also learn techniques used to understand the role that these play in, designing medicines, drug discovery, drug development, bio-fuel production, environmental clean-up and other complex processes.
On the last day of Camp each camper will perform a 5 min presentation summarizing what they learnt during the camp.
