From beginning of June until the end of August, Les Elfes offers several summer camp sessions, usually from 2 to 4 weeks long.

Les Elfes ensures active participation, a very broad choice of exciting activities and a high degree of learning in a fun and very international environment, all by guaranteeing maximum safety through our caring & experienced staff.

At Les Elfes our Summer Camps provide more than just great activities and experiences.

We introduce life long skills such as communicating with others, without your phone or laptop, understanding the value of living in a community away from the familiar environment of home or school. Of course there are massive benefits to learning a new activity such as Mountain Biking or Rock Climbing, and gains from our tailored Leadership and Career Guidance programs, but having a break from the academic cycle of school and putting fun, creativity and excitement on a daily basis as the priority is where the strength in summer camp lies.

Students will participate to:

Language Courses

8 hours per week of compulsory language lessons are included in the price, with lessons in French, English, Spanish or German (intensive language courses 15h per week are also available). Language lessons are offered in collaboration with the Verbier Language School

Sports and Activities

Discover and practice lots of different sports to be chosen from over 40 daily offered activities, such as mountain biking, tennis, Golf, rock climbing, paragliding, wakeboarding and many more

Excursions

Excursions to Bern, Lausanne, Geneva (United Nations & Old Town), a cheese and a chocolate factory, Montreux (Chillon Castle) and Vevey are organized in order to provide to the children all the best Switzerland has to offer.

Arts and Crafts

In addition, our campers can choose between several clubs, which they will attend during the session. At the end of the session we all join together and present what we learnt! Les Elfes proposes different clubs to choose: Arts & Crafts, Dance Academy, Hollywood, Mountain Orienteering, Music Video, Photography, Rockstar, Tapas.

Personal Development Programmes

These dynamic and interactive workshops will enable our students to develop a toolbox of teamwork skills which will help them to build mature lasting relationships with friends and colleagues, create imaginative and complex solutions to problems and focus on their Emotional Intellegence using theories and practices from a range of academic scholars in the field of experiential learning.

Campers will return home with great experiences, fantastic memories and lifelong friendships.

Cancellation Policy

FINAL PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

The total programme cost for the session, including charges for supplementary items, must be deposited to Les Elfes Int SA before the beginning of the camp. The required advance deposit is non-refundable. The balance is refundable up until 30 days before the beginning of the session and after this date is nonrefundable, except if you meet point 10 of Les Elfes Int SA general conditions.

In the event that a student is expelled from the camp on the grounds of gross misconduct or breach of Les Elfes Rules (see point 6.), no refund will be given. Les Elfes also reserves the right not to refund any camp fee due to students cutting their stay short.

EVENTS BEYOND THE CONTROL OF LES ELFES INT SA

War or risks of war, terrorist activities, political instability, riots, civil wars, industrial conflicts, natural disasters, closing of airports, technical problems or airplane accidents or other transportation accidents, fire, bad weather or any other events, or Acts of God beyond the control of Les Elfes Int SA that may affect the running of the camp programme, will not be the responsibility of Les Elfes Int SA. If the direction decides that the camp cannot be run for one reason or another, Les Elfes Int SA will refund the total amount of money received. If the participant decides on his/her own not to participate in the camp although it will be normally run, the participant cannot claim any refund from Les Elfes Int SA.

BEHAVIOUR OF PARTICIPANTS

Whilst under the responsibility of Les Elfes Int SA, the participants are expected to conform to the rules and regulations of Les Elfes Int SA. Les Elfes Int SA reserves the right to send the participant back to his/her home or to his/her group leader, if, during the session, the participant exhibits behaviour which is incompatible with the well- being of the camp or if the participant fails to observe the rules established by Les Elfes Int SA. Each parent or group leader will sign and return the annexed rules.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The cost of the trip cancellation covers the cancellation of the trip due to illness or accident of the participant or death of one of family members. To claim the insurance, the participant has to fill in adequate proof such as medical certificate on illness from a certified medical practitioner or the death certificate. It is mandatory for every participant to pay for these costs. The premium is 50CHF per week and covers all the land package. The Policy covers the full value of the camp fee without any deductions and is enforceable after the full camp fee including options that has been received by Les Elfes Int SA and is valid in case of cancellation from one month to one day before the beginning of the registered session. CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION OF PROGRAM

Les Elfes Int SA reserves the right to cancel any of the sessions or courses mentioned in its brochure due to insufficient numbers of participants (ratio 1/7), or for any other reason at the discretion of Les Elfes Int SA. If this rare event should arise, Les Elfes Int SA will offer to its participants the possibility of choosing another camp session or programme of Les elfes Int SA or full reimbursement of the money deposited.
