About
Launch Generation

Launch Generation runs accelerator programs for teens ages 14-18 for financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Structured as a hybrid of a conference and a summer camp, our programs introduce the skills and adaptability needed to think like, and be, an entrepreneur. Our project-based curriculum encourages self-sufficiency while our team of accomplished mentors helps cultivate the grit needed to overcome inevitable challenges.

Our Staff

We vet and select a diverse staff for each program to act as role models, catalysts, and educators. Our participant to staff ratio is 5:1 and we employ an eclectic mix of professionals, entrepreneurs, and creatives of all ages and walks of life to inspire and collaborate with this next generation of leaders. Each staff member is given a full background check and goes through an intensive "Launch Generation Staff Training" before becoming a counselor/mentor.

After reviewing the program it was apparent that this is what any parent would want their child to attend to be exposed to the different aspects of business and to open their eyes to all the possibilities awaiting them.

The founders of this camp, Whitney and Alexis, are two of the most inspirational people I've ever met, and the experience, expertise and sense of fun they bring to the camp environment gave me the knowledge and confidence to face life head on. Whether learning through interactive business simulations, site visits of up-and-coming companies, or writing my own business plan, Whitney and Alexis taught me how to be a leader, work with people from all over the world, and not take myself too seriously. Tackling real-world business problems when I was 16 was daunting, but through a mix of fun, engaging, and insightful activities, my experience helped me develop my own unique approach to business and financial stability as a college student preparing to launch my own career. This is an experience I haven't stopped talking about since the day it ended, and I'd advise any teen looking for a unique way to explore their future to jump right in!

I attended a program led by Whitney and Alexis when I was 17, and through their commitment, innovation and optimism, have been shaped into a more confident and self-aware individual than I ever imagined. Generally, life skills such as a stronger understanding of financial matters and courage in communicating and presenting have strengthened me in my entrepreneurial pursuits. More specifically, lessons I learned about social capital with them back when I was 17 played a pivotal role in my undergraduate dissertation this summer! Their dedication to every individual they come across who is willing to learn is exceptional and something I consider myself very lucky to have.
