Overview

ABOUT THE CAMP: This is a great camp where students learn advanced Python programming skills by modding their favorite Minecraft. Students will be introduced to Object Python and will use Codebuilder with Python and the agent and builder models to build cool Minecraft mods.

Python is an ideal language for Minecraft Modding! It is object-oriented so all the familiar Minecraft concepts of blocks, bricks, mobs, player, and agents can be naturally controlled and manipulated using Python syntax. This course builds upon Kodeclik's Python 1 and Python 2 courses to introduce Object Python and how we can use Minecraft's CodeBuilder to build cool Minecraft mods. Further, the CodeBuilder has built-in IntelliSense technology that makes coding a cinch! This is a great way for students to learn advanced Python programming!

My son (13yo) absolutely loved this camp, although he had to wake up very early as we live in a different time zone. I would rate Kodeklik responsiveness to problems at 50% and at 100% on the excellency of contents and tutoring. Will definitely enrol my son to another camp (at a better time for him, 4am wake up were too difficult for him to commit)

I will highly recommend this course!! My son took the Minecraft Modding with MakeCode camp with Kodeclik. Rather than gameplay I was pleasantly surprised to see that he has acquired an understanding of basic three dimensional coordinate geometry and was able to write simple programs to construct structures and objects. After every class he was spending time experimenting and making his own creations. The instructor was very patient with the students asking them to share their screen, demo their work, and worked with my son to fix the code so it behaved the way he wanted it to.
