We had an extremely disappointing experience with this summer camp. We registered our 6 year old child through ActivityHero, and after just one day, she came home in tears, calling it the worst camp she’s ever attended. She told us that other children were saying mean things to her, and the instructors ignored it. She was so upset that she refused to go back. When I reached out to discuss the issue and request a refund, the camp insisted that bullying doesn’t happen at their camp and refused to issue a refund, stating it was our choice not to return. I’m deeply dissatisfied with how this situation was handled and would not recommend this camp to anyone.

My kids had a wonderful time at this camp. They said it was their favorite camp of the summer! They loved feeling like an "American Ninja Warrior" completing all the fun obstacles they have. We will definitely do this camp again.

My son (11 years old) absolutely loved his experience in winter camp. While he is active, he has never been adventurous type and has been always feared of height. Just in 3 days, he grew to be more confident in his body strength and overcome fear for height through the training. He also learned important lessons of protecting himself and using right postures in those activities. Coach Alex is awesome. She is energetic and friendly. She also tailored activities so it is more suitable for the older kid.

I'm updating the review, as the business owner went above and beyond to resolve this issue. If you have any concerns in the future, please reach out to them directly before leaving the review.
Even though our son had a disappointing first day, once we were able to push him to his second camp day, he had a blast, and wants to sign up for more camp weeks!

Hi Berik, We are beyond sorry to hear of your son's experience in our camps. Your feedback is exactly the opposite of how we operate our camps and the experience we hope each of our campers has. I have given you a call to discuss your concerns and welcome a call back to clarify your experience. Your child has indicated to us that they hope to attend more classes with us during the school year, so there seems to be a disconnect somewhere. In the event we do not connect, please see some points below.

Supervision: The camp your child is enrolled in has a 3:1 child to teacher ratio. We pride ourselves on our attention to each child regardless of their ability and focus on their development throughout the camp. There are times in camp when children are learning skills and our coaches are there directly helping the kids. Other times, when the kids are running courses, our coaches field the course for kids needing help, technique tips, and more. Camps are not 1:1 or personal training.

Conditioning (crippled): Ninja Warrior and Obstacle Courses take a certain level of physical conditioning. Depending on each child’s fitness level when entering camp, they may experience a certain level of soreness and/of fatigue after the first day of camp. Like all fitness, this subsides as they adapt throughout the remaining days of camp.

Parent Attendance: Due to Covid, every person in our facility counts towards our maximum capacity and therefore we are not allowing parents to be present in our facility. If you had concerns, we would be happy to allow you into camp to spectate and ease your concerns.
As previously mentioned, your child, has to this point, attended each day, has not sat out during any of the camp activities, and has not expressed any concerns while in camp. In contrast, your child has actually expressed interest in returning.

Thank you for your reply. I was not able to edit my initial response, but I was able to edit stars up. However, I hope you accept that feedback. First day of camp is really important to set up the mood for the rest of the week. Our son had a lot of enjoyment on the next day, which we appreciate. However on the first day, we really had to argue him to continue that week despite the major disappointment, and we were not mentally ready to drag him through whole week.
We know there are certain risk, we totally understand there will be injuries. Regarding fitness level, our son been doing almost daily gymnastics, and then competitive taekwondo classes for the past 3 years, thats why it seemed really strange for him to be really crippled.
We have a good reason to trust our son as well, he haven't been noticed at making up stories. If he said that adult were too busy talking to each other, I have all reasons to believe him.
