For students ages 13-14 with minimal tech experience, our Starter X program is your gateway into the world of STEM. Students will dive into the world of tech, learning both computer science and engineering. Students will learn front-end web development with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Then, with powerful, yet flexible languages like Javascript and Ruby, students will learn functional and object-oriented programming to create interactive web applications. Next, students will learn essentials of electrical and mechanical engineering like circuitry and electromagnetism to build projects from rocket security systems to solar-powered car faster than humans. In just two weeks, students will have developed a comprehensive skill set and several amazing CS/engineering projects, ready for a successful future in tech.
