The San Francisco Parks Alliance champions transform and activates parks and public spaces throughout the city. Our mission is to champion, transform and activate parks and public spaces throughout the city. We are the only 501c3 citywide nonprofit organization dedicated to parks and public space in San Francisco. We believe everyone deserves access to safe and welcoming public spaces, regardless of where you live in the city.

Our Community Partner Program is the perfect place to start! Parks Alliance enables community groups to focus on their mission by providing critical administrative support and capacity building. The work of our Partners is diverse, and ranges from community gardens, urban agriculture, capital renovation projects, and ongoing stewardship and programming.

The Blue Greenway is an incredibly exciting project that brings together some of the best organizations within the city to transform a stretch of underutilized shoreline in the Southeast corridor of San Francisco into a 13-mile destination park. Parks Alliance along with partners SF Rec and Park, the Tennis Coalition of SF are upgrading the legacy tennis courts in Golden Gate Park.
