Its Your Move Games

Its your Move Games and Hobbies is a local game store with space to play games in north Oakland. We have been a part of the community for over 20 years.  During the Summer, we offer Dungeons and Dragons and Magic: the Gathering camps for kids. D&D helps to teach critical thinking, logic, creativity, problem solving and gives the confidence necessary to excel at whatever the student puts their mind to. It is also a great hobby, one that encourages group dynamic and personal interaction in a society that is becoming alarmingly insular.  The table size is 7 or fewer kids per table with one game master per group.  We go to the local frog park for lunch, frisbee, running around and to give the kids a chance to stretch their legs.  On Tuesday afternoons we L.A.R.P. at frog park and any early pick ups should be there.
