This have been my son’s favorite summer camp this year. He planned on going back next year and asked his classmates to meet him then. First he was hesitant to go but he had the best first day ever. He couldn’t wait to go back the next day. The staff and the location was truly amazing. We need more of this camp. Can’t thank you the staff leaders enough for their wonderful loving and caring energy. Tony and leaders. Thank you each and every one of you. Stay awesome!

Call of the Wild is a great outdoor nature camp. My kids attended over the summer and winter and really enjoyed it. They combine the nature education with fun and creative play. I like the small group sizes and small ratio of kids to camp staff, so my kids don't feel lost in a crowd. My younger son built his stamina for the hikes and now likes exploring nature even more. I'm really happy we found this camp!

My active five-year-old attended Call of the Wild Camp this winter and had a great time. We were a bit worried about all the rain we've been getting lately, so it was reassuring to see the thorough and proactive communication about rainy weather plans. The checklist and additional details about what to wear and bring were useful. My son loved being in the rain, hiking in the woods, finding different types of mushrooms, reading the various books about animals and forests, free play and building forts, playing on logs, etc. We have gone hiking before as a family, and he loved it, but he has even more enthusiasm for hikes now. We are very impressed that Kelly and staff pulled off the hikes with some days in the rain, teaching kids safety skills to become skilled outdoorsmen (and outdoorsgirls!). The ongoing communication at pick-up time with a summary of the day was also appreciated. Great camp highly recommended.

Hi Samantha, The kids are split up into three age groups: K-1, 2-3, and 4-6 for part or all of the day, with up to six kids per cohort. Yes, there are restrooms easily accessible for the kids nearby. For Joaquin Miller Park, there are three separate restrooms nearby. For Redwood Regional, there are two nearby. For Tilden, there are two nearby. I'm happy to help if you have any further questions.
