iD Tech overnight camps and sleepaway programs are available at select locations nationwide, for kids ages 10–19.

Summer Fun on Your Child’s Dream Campus. iD Tech is more than a camp. It’s a chance for your child to come face-to-face with friends and mentors who share their interests, all in an inspiring setting that excites them for the future. Between sessions of hands-on STEM fun, they’ll get the ultimate taste of collegiate life, from campus exploration and iconic architecture to meals in the dining halls and sweet dreams in the dorms.
Meals & Housing
Most programs begin Sunday at 6pm, with the first meal on Sunday night. Programs end on Friday at 3:00-3:30pm. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included.

Safety and supervision
As it has been for 23 years, the safety of our campers and staff is our #1 priority. This year, to welcome campers back to our locations around the country, we’re taking extra precautions and implementing preventive safety measures in light of COVID-19. Read more about our Peace-of-Mind Policies.
Additionally, all iD Tech summer staff members have undergone background checks and health and safety training. They will be on hand to lead evening activities and supervise campers. Overnight, our staff is housed in the same dorm building as the campers.
Roommates
At iD Tech, kids have the option to request a specific roommate upon registration. If no roommate is specified, we will make every effort to room each camper with another camper near their age. Boys and girls will typically be housed on separate floors or opposite wings of the dormitory.
On check-in day, we arrived at the designated location and found clear signage directing us where to go. The instructors arrived ten minutes early and made an announcement to the group of about 25 overnight campers. Check-in was surprisingly quick and organized. We returned on Friday for pickup, where the camp held a graduation event for each class. Our sons had the chance to battle their robots against each other in three-minute rounds.
It was evident that all the kids, both overnight and day campers, were having a great time. They had positive feedback about the instructors, their peers, the food, and the classrooms. They appreciated the diversity among the 75 campers. They even exchanged contact information with a few new friends and expressed interest in returning, likely to explore a different subject, such as animation.
In conclusion, I hope this helps other parents considering this camp amidst negative feedback. Ultimately, my kids had a blast and want to go back, making it money well spent.
