It was an absolutely fantastic experience for my daughter. I highly recommend it.

I registered well in advance for the craft. My child was sick the day of the event but was really excited to do the gingerbread house. I figured i could pick up the activity since we registered. The employees were rude and unhelpful. They said the child has to be there to do the activity. I tried to explain I had registered but they refused to give me the ONE kit I had registered for while they gave away several kits to each family that happened to be there. NO where in the activity, policies, or home depot website does it say they child has to be there for the event. I even offered to buy one but they refused that too. The Christmas spirit was quite lacking for a simple kids craft.

All three of my children had a blast. They can’t wait for the next class!

Had a wonderful time with the kiddos. Invited some friends end up being an art and craft/ play day.

We arrived at 9:30. There was a long line waiting outside. When it was our turn after half an hour, we were told no more gingerbread house! How disappointed!

My 7 year old had so much building his gingerbread house. There was so many kids and parents the turn out was great.

Very interesting workshop for making the gingerbread House. Kid enjoyed doing this and very much excited. The staff was very kind and helpful..

Our experience was fantastic. The entire staff was amazing. They had all the tools you needed (even wood glue) but they didn't have bottles at every table, which makes sense, you had to walk over and ask someone if they were using theirs and then use it. I am very thankful for Home Depot for making fun and FREE activities for kids.

They didn't have wood glue available. The square wood pieces were very hard to nail on! my granddaughter couldn't do it and I had a hard time pounding them in.

This was an amazing class will be back next month thank you for a free class.

Great! My son loves these workshops, they make it so easy with easy to follow instructions, and providing all the materials you need. We also had the chance to greet a group of Firefighters that came by

My 9 yr old son absolutely loves these workshops! It gives him a chance to build something with direction and the Home Depot staff are always willing to help.

My grandson had an amazing time, we will be attending other events.

The activity was a little different than the one listed. There were some other kits available, however, the kids had fun! The staff were prepared, professional, kind and engaged. My kids learned to use tools for the first time.

Well to start you have some enthused host for the event. They were very sweet ladies. My kids really enjoyed building something with nails and screws.

The workshop was very fun, and challenging but we worked together and got it done. The two ladies that hosted it was very helpful and fun. Thanks for having us, will be attending the next one.

It was a very fun activity to do. Pretty easy directions and all the supplies needed were provided. We loved how the chest turned out, however we were disappointed to find out that they ran out of home depot aprons and we were like the 7th family there and it had just started. But hoping to do another HD activity soon to try to get an apron for my child.

The activity was fun and easy to put together. The directions (written and visual) were easy to follow.

We had a ball. Nice change from the dready pandemic. Plan to go again in the future. Home Depot employees were happy and helpful and attentive. I like the certificate and pin. Me, grandpa and granddaughter spent quality time and my granddaughter was over the moon painting, hammering and constructing the flower planter. I did the event at Willow Grove Home Depot. Thanks Hone Depot you made our day!

The kids all enjoyed making the bird houses. There was enough room for everyone and the man working the event was very helpful and kind.

Love this, it’s outdoors, directions are easy and age appropriate, all supplies are provided and the next part it’s free! It’s my second time bringing my boy and look forward to joining in for future events!

The actual event was canceled because of Hurricane Ian. Home Depot was still able to provide family and kids with the material to finish the project at home.

We got there during the timeframe listed, but no one was available to help with with the activity, and the entire activity was chained off, so we couldn't access the area. We didn't even get to participate and drove up there for nothing.

We enjoy the activity and the staff was very helpful.

Everything was set up and organized very nicely. We had a lot of fun!

My grandson enjoyed building a constellation viewer. It is his favorite store!

The workshop was enjoyable and educational. Our darling daughter was excited for this and she did a great job building the constellation viewer. Looking forward to another workshop from Home Depot.

It was a great family workshop. They provided extra materials for mishaps and extra kits too. COVID free regulated environment, and provided light snacks and water.

Home Depot always has awesome projects for kids. My grandson thoroughly enjoyed making a planter this past weekend. There was many important skills including how to use a hammer and nails.

My son spent about 2 hours at homedepot for kids to make an eagle project. This was the first time that he participated in the event as a 7-year-old boy. Absolutely, he likes it. We will continue to register him for such kind of events or activities. Thanks for Home Depot giving kids an opportunity to train their abilities as a handyman.

It was wonderful! The kid had a blast! Does require staying there all 3 hours. More likely we spent 20 minutes there.

Expecting more of an “ instruction “ class for kids where a person guided them but it was still nice.. no aprons were available as advertised.

I will definitely go to this workshop again with my daughter, she had fun. Although, I thought the children would have the Home Depot workers instructing them on how to create the project instead of the parents doing everything with them, I noticed that this was difficult for parents with more than 2 children. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable experience for the both of us.

Good it’s too much fun. My kids enjoyed and staff is friendly too.

Home Depot does an awesome job with kids’ craft workshops.

This was a very fun Saturday morning outing for my son and husband. They reported a good-size crowd for the rocket ship pencil box activity, but no long wait or difficulty accessing the necessary supplies. The craft was unique and definitely well timed for back-to-school, and of course it was a huge added plus that the whole thing was free! We'll be keeping an eye out for upcoming Home Depot events for kids.

My boys enjoyed their time there. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It was super fun and learning experience for kids.

Kids liked it very much. Hammering and screwing pieces together to get the end of the task is very fulfilling for the child’s accomplishment.

Well organized activity. My kids had loads of fun.

I will definitely recommend this to others. My son enjoyed using the tools and kit to build a truck. The illustrations in the instruction manual help him build his truck independently minimal assistance from me.

The task required parental assistant but our child remained engaged throughout. And now she has a fun toy she can be proud of that she made. Home Depot staff were cheerful and helpful. They even told us about future events that would be interesting for our child.

He was so proud that he was able to make it himself! He had a great time!

My kids enjoyed it very much. They had fun and were actually playing with the putty green at home. However we could use some shade... umbrella around the area that the kids are working/building would be perfect and very much appreciated. Thank you!

It was very enjoyable. My daughter had a wonderful time. I only have one complaint, and that it is outside. Normally, that would not be a negative factor, due to California weather, but lately for the last several months we have had an overcast and sporadic rain fall. This day just happen to have sprinkled on us, luckily I carry an umbrella. Other families with littler one did not have such cover, but continued with the project. Overall, it was a great idea for the family and my daughter had a blast. I would definitely have my daughter do this again, and recommend this to my friends and family.

Definitely will be recommending someone. It was a great success my kids really enjoyed this event and will return for the next one.

The 23ird street store isnt doing classes but the beach store is. We had a great time building a cute little frame with flowers. The people that were running the event were very friendly. We are looking forward to going back next month!

My daughter loved it! We built the clock tray with instructions on the paper, staff was handing over stuff, would expected more like someone should inform kids about safety like handling hammers and screws etc...so they can get more attention from parents.

My grandson felt like a grown up after he made this pencil box. Great fun!

This was a great experience for my 6 year old daughter. I loved helping her follow the directions and step by step process to produce a final product. I also loved that she got to use grown up tools such as hammers, nails, and screw drivers. Additionally, the staff was awesome, encouraging, and enthusiastic. Thanks Home Depot and staff. He had fun building a wooden fishing game, and got an apron and pin for participating. Parents must be present and help as the only suppport from staff is handing out the kit. It is a nice community event offered to families by Home Depot.
