Girls Make Games

Girls Make Games is a series of international summer camps, workshops and game jams designed to inspire the next generation of designers, creators, and engineers.

The Girls Make Games 3-week summer camp teaches girls ages 8-17 the fundamentals of game development including programming, art, and design. Participants work in teams to create fully functional game prototypes and compete nationally for the grand prize, a chance to have their game developed and published! 

Registrations for 2023 GMG Summer Camps are now open. 

Our Staff

GMG summer staff comprises of professional game developers, i.e., people who make games for a living, including students from some of the top Computer Science and Games programs in the country like MIT, USC, and Duke University.
