Our art camps are designed run from 9am - 3pm Monday through Friday. Aftercare is available from 3-5pm at $20/hr (per child). You can request aftercare each day at sign in.
Weekly projects include:
Chiaozza Abstract Still Life:
In this painting camp, our artists will look to the artist duo Adam Frezza and Terri Chiao as we create our own abstract still life. We will explore different color combinations, shapes, and patterns as we put together our compositions. At the end of class, everyone will have a bold and bright new still life to hang on their wall.
Multimedia Animal Mask:
For this week of camp, our artists will be asked to dig deep and determine their spirit animal! We will use mixed media and paper to construct a bright and ornate 3D animal mask. Artists will be tasked with creating layers and textures, and selecting colors that represent the different characteristics of their animal. At the end, each mask will be mounted on a dowel and stand so their spirits can be displayed for all to see!
Sunglass Reflection Self Portrait:
Put your stunna shades on 😎. Join us for a week of camp as we create our own summer self portraits. Our artists will illustrate a portrait of themselves with sunglasses and the reflection of the world they see in the reflection. We will be using a combination of watercolor and colored pencils to create our stunning illustrations. At the end of camp, everyone will have a framed 2025 self portrait that they can keep forever!
Paper Vase & Flowers:
In this 3-day week, our artists will create their own paper sculptures in the shapes of vases and flowers! We will play with form and shape for our vase, and will paint decorative designs using watercolors. We will also create a bouquet of flowers to fill our vase, using wire, paper, and paint! At the end of camp, each artist will have a new decorative piece to make any shelf shine all year round.
Embroidered Cubist Tote:
Join us for an embroidery camp! Each artist will select a wild animal as the subject of their portrait, and will use abstraction and geometric shapes to recreate their animal in a cubist manner. We will then challenge our artists to decide on a color story which will inform their thread choices, as we learn how to embroider their cubist designs! At the end of the class, every artist will take home a beautifully embroidered tote!
Disco Ball Painting:
Let’s boogie. In this week of camp, we will be working on our very own disco ball paintings! Each artist will start with a circle canvas, which we will then paint to look like a disco ball. We will explore shade and value, focusing on how to express light and reflections. At the end of camp, everyone will have a fun new decorative piece to bring home!
