Forensics: Criminal Investigation Lab
Do you have what it takes to solve a crime? Learn the skills to solve a realistic crime scene in small groups using various forensic science techniques like bloodstain platter, DNA analysis, finger-printing, criminal investigative processes and crime scene diagramming. Students will follow the forensic process—from pursuing the evidence trail to taking the findings to trial – and find out how clues and data are recorded and preserved to solve a mock crime scene.

Guest Speaker
Forensic professionals in various areas will share their experiences in what it really is like to solve a crime.

Deliverables
A final project where students will present on how they solved a mock crime scene using their learned skills. High school students will create a portfolio, or case file, as they investigate their crime over the course of the week.

Scheduling
Our Enrichment Camps will run for two hours per day for one week and will include some independent work outside of the live group sessions.
