At International Language Camps, we believe in creating unforgettable experiences for children aged 6 to 16. Nestled in the heart of the French Alps in Megève, our summer camps combine total language immersion with exciting sports, creative workshops, and cultural adventures. Over the past 25 years, we’ve welcomed campers from over 40 nationalities, fostering friendships that cross borders and building a truly multicultural environment.

What sets us apart? Our philosophy: “You don’t just learn a language—you live it.” Campers are fully immersed in English or French through interactive classes and daily activities led by native-speaking instructors. With small group sizes (no more than 8 students per class) and a hands-on approach, we ensure every child receives personalized attention to boost their confidence and fluency. Our premium accommodations in a premium chalet hotel, paired with balanced meals and round-the-clock supervision, provide a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for your child to thrive.

From rafting and mountain biking to creative workshops and excursions to Alpine villages, every day is a new adventure. Beyond improving language skills, our programs help children grow personally—building independence, confidence, and lifelong friendships. Safety is our top priority, with a 1:5 staff-to-child ratio and a professional team dedicated to your child’s well-being. Itinerary

At International Language Camps, each day is thoughtfully designed to balance language learning, physical activities, and cultural discovery, ensuring your child has an enriching and exciting experience.

Weekdays:

Mornings: Campers participate in intensive language workshops (English or French) in small groups (max 8 students), tailored to their proficiency level. Lessons are interactive and incorporate tools like drama, role-playing, and excursions to ensure dynamic and effective learning.
Afternoons: Your child will enjoy sports activities such as rafting, ice skating, climbing, hiking with dogs, or archery tag, based on their age. Additionally, they will explore artistic and cultural activities, including yoga, theater, pottery, arts & crafts, and visits to local farms and cheese-making workshops.
Evenings: After dinner, campers engage in fun activities like team games, stargazing, or grilling marshmallows. The week concludes with a Friday night camp disco, a highlight for everyone!

Optional Add-ons (Afternoons at 5 PM): Campers can choose specialized programs such as tennis, golf, climbing, or dance lessons with professionals.

Saturdays:

Morning: Fun activities to unwind after a busy week.
Afternoon: Campers perform a drama production they’ve prepared during the week, showcasing their creativity and teamwork to parents and friends.

Sundays (for campers staying two weeks or more): A full-day excursion is organized to explore iconic sites, such as:

The Mer de Glace glacier in Chamonix.
The breathtaking Aiguille de Midi with stunning views of Mont Blanc.
The picturesque canals and lake of Annecy, known as the "Venice of the Alps."
Local mountain resorts, each offering unique cultural experiences.

Daily Schedule:

07:30 – 08:30: Wake-up and breakfast.
09:00 – 12:00: Language workshops with breaks featuring bilingual games.
12:10 – 13:30: Lunch.
13:30 – 17:00: Sports or discovery activities.
17:00 – 18:00: Artistic or optional activities (tennis, golf, dance, or climbing).
19:00 – 20:00: Dinner.
20:00 – 21:30: Evening activities.
21:30/22:30: Bedtime (varies by age group).
