Fremont Table Tennis Academy

Shashin and team here took great care of my twin, 7 year old daughters here, while they learned basics of table tennis at the Fremont table tennis academy for over a year. I enrolled them in group classes and they enjoyed not just learning TT, but also interacting with other kids at the academy. Shashin and team always were very friendly towards my kids, and I would happily recommend this place to anyone interested in educating their kids about TT.

We have been enjoying services from this place for a couple of years now. The set up is such that kids get personal attention and grow to their best potential in table tennis very fast. They have very dedicated coaches. We have experience with coach Shashin and coach Paras and they are both amazing. Coach Shashin's family (Father, mother and sister) are involved with the program which gives it a more warm environment for kids.

I find the Academy and the coaches sincere and of course they are good at what they are doing( and at an affordable price )

This academy specifically focuses on young kids. Most importantly kids enjoy coming here.

We had a great experience. My 9 year old did couple of weeks of summer camp. He captured a lot of new stuff, had a lot of fun and spent his time well. Very flexible with scheduling, which helped me extremely!!

My son enjoyed the full day camp here. He was excited about all the mini games they play and he came home talking about speed vs accuracy and bending knees etc. So I know he was learning and interested.

The staff are really friendly and experienced. You get the best of both worlds: you get to play with really good coaches and players while you feel the warmth and individual attention of a family owned and run business. We have had a great experience.

I absolutely love attending these classes. All the coaches are super nice and friendly. And I have greatly improved, as a casual ping pong player who had never taken classes before.

I use FTT facility for open plays and sometimes, I take private sessions with Shashin to improve certain aspects my game. Shashin is an excellent coach and he can provide customized coaching sessions based on which part of ping pong technique a player wants to improve. . My son also participated in summer and spring camps and now, he is attending the weekday after school program at FTT. Overall, I recommend this place.

It was a good experience for my son who was interested in ping-pong, but a beginner. He was interested in going every day of the Thanksgiving camp and was happy.

My daughter attends this Academy since 4+ Months (As of Oct) and is eager and look forward for the Training. Coach Shashin starts out with a Warm up and kids are kept engaged with various Fun Challenges at Mid-Hour and towards close. Kids are also taught responsibility to work as a team within their assigned group to play against/collect the tennis balls/assist and observe. With limited time my daughter gets to play outside of the Academy, I can see that her game is slowly improving.
No complaints. The 1 Hr class is just about right for younger kids and keeps them occupied. Coach offers 2 Hr class, but for young Kids, 1 Hr is plentiful for their attention span. As mentioned, Various games/contests within the 1 Hr ensure kids do not find it monotonous.
Plan to have daughter attend in long-run if she takes interest further, but for starters and good learning, do not hesitate.
On a sidenote, there are i believe 3-4 coaches who give individual Attention to kids; Coach Shashin is awesome and knows all kids by names and take the occasional time to correct wrong posturing/play in kids. I guess that personal attention and call makes a personal difference for kids. For quality and personalized attention, have no doubts.
Met some of my friends at the coaching center who have been sending their kids for the past 1+ yr and they drive from Cupertino to Fremont, which speaks for itself. Go ahead!

My son attended their summer camp first time and he start liking table tennis lot and start going every week now. I haven't seen any place yet who has such motivated trainer.
Few highlights:
1. They have allocated coach to every table not like one coach is allocated to multiple tables.
2. They engaged kids through different activity like round the table, tournaments, hitting the glasses, etc. in summer camp as well as in regular classes which happen on Saturday and Sunday. All these things motivate the kids, and they want to go this class by themselves.
3. All coaches are so much dedicated and pay attention to every kid, yes, every kid.
4. custom made paddles are sold by them are awesome (highly recommended).

Coach Shashin has a lot of experience teaching table tennis, and my son really enjoys learning from him. No matter what skill level your kid is at, he/she will improve by attending the camp.

One of the best Table Tennis centers around. We have been going here for the last three years and the professionalism shown by the coaches are top notch. My kid started as a beginner player and the Head Coach, Shashin, helped him develop into a professional tournament player. The environment and place is super kid friendly too. We would recommend this place any day to anyone.

Fremont Table Tennis Academy is a great place to train your kids. They can train your kid to progress slowly while having fun or to go to the next competitive level. The owner, Shashin, is an international level player and is assisted by good coaches. He was able to get my kid engaged almost immediately when we went over for the assessment class. Over the last few months, my kid looks forward to going to the academy and spending quality time there. The coaching is rigorous and the coaches try to push kids to do their best. Shashin in particular, and his coaches, keeps the mood light by bantering with the kids, asking them questions about their school and hobbies to create a friendly atmosphere.

If you have a kid who has any interest in table tennis, do what I did and pick up the phone to contact Shashin and I am fairly certain that that once you go to the academy, your child will be hooked.

Fremont Table Tennis Academy is one of the finest places to train for Ping Pong. My son (10Yrs) goes there and he throughly enjoys. Coaches are very talented. They constantly challenge and push the students and bring the best out of them. Their programs are very well designed to meet the students at different levels. Their weekend leagues are great to instill the competitive spirit in kids. I highly recommend this place.
