About
Free to Be Me Studio of Performing Arts
Free to Be Me Studio of Performing Arts provides quality performance training in a positive, enthusiastic, nurturing, and embracing environment. Through classes, workshops, camps, performance opportunities, and unique experiences our students learn essential life skills such as teamwork, respect, responsibility, care and compassion. We always strive to make the Free to Be Me experience a memorable one that will shape our students in whatever path they choose to take. We emphasize the importance of character both on and off the stage and work to inspire each student to BE a positive light out in the community.
Our Mission: Free to Be Me was founded on a dream that educators can meet each student exactly where they are and breathe courage into them as performers, while infusing them with self-confidence, self-respect, self-compassion, self-discipline, and lots and lots of self-love. At Free to Be Me we encourage the celebration of each and every student and their abilities and talents. Most importantly we encourage FUN!

Our Staff
We pride ourselves on having passionate, fun, and nurturing staff members who create safe spaces and a supportive environment for all. Our staff are highly educated and trained. We always have a lead staff member on site who has been cleared through DOJ. Our Summer Camp Lead Instructor had a degree from CSUF in Theater Arts along with several years experience as a performer and director in several different Children's Theater Organizations and Schools. Our executive director is highly trained in child psychology, child development, and has years of directing competition teams, children's theater productions, and teaching classes and workshops all over Southern California.

Our son has been a member of the group for several years. FTBM has taught him more than just singing and dancing. He has gained confidence to speak in public, learned how to contribute to a group, and how to be responsible and follow through with commitments. All while following a passion and having fun.

My children, ages 11 and 13 have been attending classes and performing with Free To Be Me for 2 years now and they are LOVING it! They also both did the SUMMER CAMP last year and had so much fun singing and dancing all day long! The instructors are kind and respectful of each child’s ability level and encourage them to step out of their comfort zone in a way that makes the kids really want to shine! My youngest has gone from a little one that cried after her first class because she didn’t think she would like being on stage so much to now performing a duet for competitions and doing great! She has also been talking about going out for a lead part in the upcoming summer show! We couldn’t be prouder of the growth and confidence that we we have seen while at Free To Be Me!
