The instructors are incredibly passionate and professional. Not many kids can say they are amateur drone pilot but thanks to Flymore, now they can!!

The guys at FlyMore really have a passion for technology and flying drones. My kids had been really interested in learning more about this drone craze. But after buying a drone for them, they seemed to be losing interest. I asked them why they didn't continue learning and playing with it (it was not cheap - so I was considering selling it), they both felt they couldn't it out very well. After some internet research, it turns out there are tons of nuances to operating these drones! Camera settings, drone settings, remote settings, sensors, legal rules, ect. It turns out they didn't fly it as much because they weren't confident. You can't gain that by just googling videos of other people using it. You have to practice and learn. I never want to encourage them to give up or quit before attempting an honest effort... I couldn't teach them myself, so I thought it would be worth getting them formal training from someone that knew what they were doing.

The flymore guys explained that kids are often nervous to fly drones, because us parents ramble about how expensive they are... don't crash it... don't spy on people... don't fly near water or trees... keep it away from the house... ect. Haha I was guilty of all of it. I didn't realize I was discouraging them from using it because I immediately scared them the moment I gave it to them. The consequence of flying it and something bad happening outweighed the initial benefit and enjoyment of flying it.

After several sessions with these guys and they were off to the races... taking videos... editing and making these cool videos... They are actually excited to use it now. They've even gotten friends into it and they feel confident enough to pass the controls over to them and teach them how to fly it.

So the Flymore guys took a drone that was collecting dust and about to be sold on eBay... to igniting interest in my kids to use and understand a technology that is getting more and more advanced. And we've gotten some really cool family trip videos at the beach and mountains that we will have forever. (All without destroying a single drone!)

Thanks again Flymore gang... You helped my kids find a productive passion that gets them outside by overcoming their concerns by surprisingly helping me get over mine first!! Cheers!
