Starting at 12:01AM on second Monday (or at least fourteen full days) prior to the start of any program session: I understand that no reduction of fees, transfer, credit, or refund, in any tuition collected will be made for late arrival, early departure, absence, vacations, or other absence. This policy is strictly enforced and required. This policy is enforced in the same way that a “performance seat” is sold. The sale of one of our program seats requires us to hire staff prior to the start of the program and reduces the inventory of available seats to be sold to other potential participants. I confirm that organizations such as Trip Mate and other organizations may offer insurance for excused and unexcused cancellation of my child(rens) camp participation and/or other programs offered by Fleming Tech Camps and that I have the right, and the knowledge, that I can purchase such insurance from another organization to cover your costs if you need to cancel your participation in a program.
I acknowledge and agree that Fleming Tech Camps has no ability to provide a refund for any tuition, service fees, or other costs if a cancellation occurs inside of the above defined time window (14 days prior to the start of any camp or program). This includes any costs that may have been incurred from Registration Fees and external credit card processing organizations, the camp registration system and payment processing Company.
I acknowledge and agree that Meteor Wave, LLC (ie Fleming Tech Camps) uses STRIPE to process its payment transactions and that Fleming Tech Camps does not have the ability to remedy any refund requests that they, or your credit card company, might not accept. I affirm that I will not hold Fleming Tech Camps responsible, or liable for any unreturned fees from any other third party who might process camp registrations.
I agree that should my child be dismissed or asked to leave from the program, for any reason (as in they break one of our rules), no part of my tuition will be refunded. If my child(ren) cannot attend the program, I must ask for a credit for the tuition by 11:59PM on the 15th day (at least fifteen days), prior to the start of a camp or program. If requested, prior to the deadline a credit for the program will be provided. No refunds will be provided, only credits for future programs
Sickness: If a participant is sick prior to the start of a program, and unable to participate in the program, a credit will be provided for a future program (refunds are not provided). A credit can only be given if the request is accompanied by a signed doctor’s note indicating that the participant was sick, ill or injured and could not participate in the program. Credits will be prorated for participants that have participated in some portion of the program. A credit will not be provided once ½ or more of the program’s scheduled hours have occurred.
If, at any time, Meteor Wave, LLC (aka Fleming Tech Camps) is required to cancel a program, Fleming Tech Camps will provide a tuition refund (minus any fees collected for other programs that might have been purchased and the Registration fee) or provide a credit for a future program. The option for a tuition refund or credit for a future program will be up to the parent who paid for the program. Programs may be canceled due to lack of enrollment, technical difficulties, acts of god, War, or for any other reason.
Technical Issues: If you have a technical issue connecting to a Fleming Tech Camp program you must work with a program support agent to help you connect to the program. A technical issue must be reported, by voice by a parent, through one of our phone numbers, within the first hour of the start of a program. If a participant cannot access the program the parent must make a phone call and report the problem to Meteor Wave, LLC (aka Fleming Tech Camps) within the first 60 minutes of the start of the program. The support technician may ask you to reboot your computer, reboot your internet connection, or re-install software. In our experience, 99.5% of the technical problems are due to your internet connection and/or firewall. An internet router reboot corrects most issues. Alternatively, disconnecting your firewall, or reducing the settings on it will also provide access to the program. All attempts will be made to try and resolve the problem. If the Meteor Wave support representative deems that they cannot solve the problem, they will inform the program management team. A management team member will then speak with the parent and work with them to either resolve the problem, at management’s discretion, and after all attempts have been made, they may offer a refund or credit. Please note, a refund/credit is only needed in the rarest cases.
Hotspots and cellular networks: Person’s attempting to connect to the program through a mobile hotspot, or cell phone do so at their own risk. These types of devices sometimes have low levels of internet connection, or block some ports that might be needed to connect. No refunds or credits will be given to persons having difficulty accessing the program through a hotspot or cellular network.
