"Updated regarding the COVID-19"
Our organization is following the latest guidelines set by the WHO, CDC and our local health authority. We will continue to closely monitor the latest health data and recommendations.
Our camp will operate under some restrictions and guidelines:
Student to teacher ratio: 8 to 1
Each group will be placed in separate classrooms; based on gravel level (s)
(i.e. Grades 5th and 6th will grouped together in the classroom)
The camp is a hands-on academic enrichment program focused on presenting STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) concepts. Our instructors introduce various forms of concepts, theory and interactive skill building by incorporating technology, field experiments, and classroom lectures. Our goal is to present an exploratory learning session where each camper develops and enhances his or her critical and analytical thinking skills. We want to develop the next generation of scientists, engineers, inventors and leaders from our community.
Campers will learn more about various field of engineering--aerospace, architectural, computer, and civil, marine biology, gaming design, research science, robotics, technology, video production, and veterinary through our partnerships with the Apple Computer, GA Aquarium, GA Tech, Fernbank Museum, MODA, Ten80 Foundation, and Zoo Atlanta. Our camp is geared towards rising 5th through 10th graders.
The camp will also incorporate various sports disciplines that will emphasize health & wellness, living an active lifestyle. Additionally, there will be various field trips to Andretti's Indoor Karting & Games, Six Flags, High Museum, GA Aquarium, TopGolf, SkyZone, and the movies. All of our campers will have a unique experience and take their skills to the next level!
