Minecraft Mania Camp

Who doesn’t love Minecraft? Build and create with challenges for individuals and teams that will increase in complexity during the week of fun. Hunt for lost gems and prizes, build secret structures with Minecraft Legos. Design and build a giant Minecraft team and forts for Nerf Dart Tag AND Laser Tag play. Hunt for gems, level ups and other materials to build your own custom sword. Learn archery and play for points for your team. Create your own Minecraft character to use in the Dodgeball Swap Championship games. Nintendo Switch Tournament to end the week.

This camp will focus on results in working in a team of 2 for most projects; strengthening motor skills with designing and creating with specialized kits (not computer based). Computers will not be used during this week’s camp.

This camp will focus on results in working as a team as well as individual projects. Activities will be separated out by age group and/or friends for maximum enjoyment with complex challenges based on age and/or experience.

Activities overview:

Daily, outdoor guided walk to and from Oak Crest Park (10 Min) for 2 hours of morning park activities.

Return from park for lunch and afternoon fun in our state-of-the-art indoor facilities.

BEAM system play. This is an award-winning floor integrated, gaming system that incorporates education and fun for kids. This system turns any physical space into a virtual playground! BEAM is wildly engaging for all ages and encourages them to be more physically active!

Extended Camp Before and After Camp Hours Available this week.

We provide an excellent before and after camp experience that provides a 10 to 1 ratio with experienced camp counselors. Campers will be allowed to attend late afternoon martial arts classes (voluntary), daily dodgeball challenges, Nintendo Switch Competitions, Movies, create with arts and crafts we will provide, games and much more. Sample our extensive library for some summer reading. Monitored laptops are also available for research and study. Before and After Camp is at an additional cost and can be purchased by contacting Encinitas Karate.
