Emerging Sprouts

Emerging Sprouts forest school family Fridays have been absolutely wonderful for myself and my 18 month old son. The outdoor environment is incredibly safe with fresh, open-air and I feel very comfortable having him in this natural environment. Emma has such a creative, playful and kind nature about the way she engages children. She really takes the time to get to know and connect with each child and parent and I really feel like my son is in the best hands whilst in her care. Emma not only teaches based on an emergent Reggio Emilia curriculum, but also engages children’s social and emotional learning in such an integrated way into all that they do. It is truly a magical place for my son and I am so grateful he gets to learn about Mother Nature and experience the joys of the life and elements around him. Emma’s thoughtful and expert guidance have provided my son and his classmates with opportunities for to explore to their hearts content and experience hands-on learning in the best classroom on earth.

Highly recommended!! Emma's deep respect for children is matched only by her playfulness. Her school and classes are informed by her child development education and her love of the outdoors and are filled with an investigation of nature and an understanding of our connection to it.
